Plancha de acero al carbono Omberg 41 x 53 cm
Cooking on a proper steel griddle is both practical and enjoyable. This carbon steel griddle is designed for a 60 cm griddle or grill, turning your setup into a full-size restaurant-style cooking surface.
With its generous size of 41x53 cm and a solid 6 mm thickness, it transforms your grill or häll into a true plancha. The raised front edge prevents grease from running off, and the welded sides ensure a completely sealed cooking surface. You get full control, high heat retention, and a professional cooking experience at home.
Carbon steel is built to last. Once properly seasoned, the surface develops a natural non-stick layer that improves over time. You can use spatulas and scrapers without worrying about damaging coatings. Unlike non-stick pans that eventually need replacing, this griddle has no fixed lifespan. With proper care, it can last for generations.
From smash burgers and pancakes to fried potatoes or a classic “pytt i panna”, this is a versatile addition to any outdoor kitchen. While round frying pans have their place, the straight edges of a square griddle make many dishes easier to cook and handle.
Manufactured locally in Åtvidaberg, Sweden, just a short distance from our warehouse, this product reflects genuine Swedish craftsmanship. Produced using modern laser cutting and bending techniques, then welded and finished by skilled professionals with long experience in commercial kitchen equipment.
When seasoning your griddle, heat it gradually, especially on induction. Avoid using maximum power immediately and do not exceed 450°C. As the steel seasons, it will change color, eventually becoming dark brown or black. This is a sign that the surface is developing correctly.
If you want to cook with precision, durability, and real heat control, this is the griddle to choose.
