Plancha de acero al carbono 42 x 25 cm
Cooking on a solid steel griddle is both practical and enjoyable. This carbon steel griddle measures 42x25 cm and is designed to fit a medium-sized grill, covering roughly half of the cooking surface. It also works perfectly on your indoor stovetop, giving you flexibility all year round.
The raised front edge prevents grease from running off the plate, while the welded rear corners ensure a tight and fully sealed construction. You get a controlled cooking surface that keeps juices where they belong.
Once properly seasoned, carbon steel becomes a highly versatile cooking tool. From smash burgers and pancakes to fried potatoes and classic comfort dishes, this griddle handles it all. While a round frying pan is standard in most kitchens, the straight edges of a rectangular griddle make many dishes easier to cook and handle with a scraper.
Carbon steel is made to last. After seasoning, the surface develops a natural non-stick layer that improves over time. You can use spatulas and scrapers without worrying about damaging coatings. Unlike non-stick pans that eventually wear out, this griddle has no defined lifespan. With proper care, it can serve you for many years.
Manufactured locally in Åtvidaberg, Sweden, close to our warehouse, this griddle represents genuine Swedish craftsmanship. Produced using modern laser cutting and bending techniques, then welded and finished by experienced professionals with long expertise in commercial kitchen manufacturing.
When seasoning your griddle, always heat it gradually, especially on induction. Avoid using maximum power immediately and never exceed 450°C. As the steel seasons, it will change color, eventually becoming dark brown or black. This is a natural and desired process.
If you want durability, control, and professional results both outdoors and indoors, this is a reliable choice.
