Omberg Asador
South American Grill for Charcoal and Wood
Asador XL – Open-Flame Cooking on 107 cm
The Asador XL is an authentic South American grill, meticulously designed for those who embrace the art of fire and embers in harmony. Boasting a generous grilling surface of 107 x 46.5 cm, this grill is perfect for slow-cooked perfection or high-heat searing. Fueled by charcoal or wood, it features an adjustable-height grill grate, allowing you to precisely control the heat.
With solid V-shaped grates made of 2 mm stainless steel, the grill is designed to channel fat and meat juices forward into collection trays. These rich drippings can either be used for basting your meat for enhanced flavor or discarded as desired.
The adjustable-height grate gives you full control over cooking temperatures, whether you prefer low, slow grilling for tender, smoky flavors or hot & fast searing for a perfect crust. Add griddle plates, skewers, or the rotisserie to expand what you can cook on it.
¿Qué es el asado?
Asado is more than just a cooking method, it is a cultural tradition, deeply rooted in South American heritage. Think of American barbecue, but with an emphasis on patience, social connection, and the beauty of fire cooking. There’s no rush, the food is ready when it’s ready, and the experience is meant to be savored.
An Asado can be an intimate gathering or a grand feast, featuring a variety of dishes or a single signature meal. The Asador (grill master) carefully tends the fire while friends and family enjoy wine, share stories, and take in the intoxicating aromas of burning wood and sizzling ingredients. Asado is not just about food, it is a way of life, a way of coming together, a way of honoring tradition.
