Omberg Asador
South American Grill for Charcoal and Wood
Asador Large – 87 cm of Open-Flame Cooking
The Asador Large is a South American-style grill, designed for those who appreciate the art of fire and embers in perfect harmony. With an expansive grilling surface of 87 x 46.5 cm, it offers ample space for crafting extraordinary meals over an open flame. Whether using charcoal or wood, you can easily adjust the grill height to achieve precision heat control.
Crafted with solid V-shaped grates in 2 mm stainless steel, the design ensures that fat and meat juices flow forward into collection trays. These juices can either be used for basting the meat for added flavor or discarded as preferred.
The adjustable-height grate allows you to fine-tune the cooking temperature, whether opting for slow and steady roasting or a hot & fast sear. Works with skewers, rotisserie, and griddle plates.
What is Asado?
Asado is more than just a cooking technique, it is a South American tradition, deeply rooted in the culture of gathering, sharing, and savoring the moment. Think of American barbecue, but with a slower pace and an emphasis on togetherness. There is no rush, the meal is ready when it's ready, and the experience is meant to be enjoyed.
An Asado can be a grand feast or a simple gathering, featuring a variety of dishes or a single signature meal. The Asador (grill master) expertly tends to the fire, while friends and family relax with a glass of wine, engage in conversation, and indulge in the intoxicating aromas of burning wood and sizzling ingredients. Asado is about more than just food, it is about celebrating life around the fire.
Parrilla, Gaucho, Asado, or Santa Maria Grill?
A cherished tradition goes by many names! Becoming an Asador is both a challenge and a rewarding experience. Since the dawn of time, humans have gathered around open flames to cook, and the primal satisfaction of grilling over fire remains unchanged.
That nostalgic feeling of roasting a sausage over an open fire in the woods, that’s the magic we bring to your backyard. And who knows? With this grill, you might just become the neighborhood’s Asador or Grill King!
