Omberg Asado Gaucho Brasero Shelf
Add a Cooking Surface to Your Brasero Zone
The Brasero Shelf mounts inside the brasero area of your Asado Gaucho with four wing nuts and adjusts up or down in height to match your fire position. The brasero is where you build and manage your fire. This shelf adds a second cooking surface in that zone, turning the fire management area into a functional cooking position as well.
The grate surface uses solid rods with enough spacing to let heat through freely and hold smaller items without them falling through.
How to Use It
Set the shelf height based on what you are cooking. Lower it toward the fire for direct, high heat , good for searing smaller cuts and getting colour on vegetables quickly. Raise it for a more moderate temperature when you want to cook something at a slower pace or keep food warm while the main grate handles the primary cook.
The Carbon Steel Griddle 39 x 34 cm is designed to sit on this shelf and turns the brasero zone into a flat plancha surface. That combination works well for smash burgers, eggs, fish, and vegetables cooked over live embers.
Mounting and Adjustment
Four wing nuts, no tools required. Height can be adjusted during the cook. The shelf removes completely for cleaning or when you need the brasero clear for fire management.
